This is a perfect Christmas Day Watch, a family film that is highly enjoyable by all.

Synopsis:

Paddington is happily settled with the Brown family in Windsor Gardens, where he has become a popular member of the community, spreading joy and marmalade wherever he goes. Paddington spots a unique pop-up book in Mr. Gruber’s antique shop, Whilst searching for the perfect present for his Aunt Lucy’s hundredth birthday, and embarks upon a series of odd jobs to buy it. But when the book is stolen, Paddington and the Browns must turn into detectives and unmask the thief.

Black Panther

This is Super Hero Cinema at its finest! Black Panther will be on every single Top Movies of 2018 List on the Internet!

Synopsis:

The storyline follows T’Challa who, after the events of “Captain America: Civil War,” returns home to the African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King. However, T’Challa’s ability as King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk, at the hands of an old enemy.

Well, we put Mission Impossible- Fallout in our Top Movies because even after all these years they have still kept Tom Cruise in the cast which always a winner for us and because the storyline actually works and fits with the insane production unlike alot of other franchises!

Synopsis:

Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team (Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames)are in a race against time after a mission gone wrong.

Spider-Man: into the Spiderverse

If you love all things animation you will love Spider-man: into the Spiderverse they actually upped the levels with this one!

Synopsis:

Blackkklansmen

We might be slightly Biased but anything Spike Lee Directed makes the list! This Comedic perspective of social issues and racial and politic parallels is very nicely put together to keep you all the way to end even if this stuff seems a bit heavy for a late night watch.

Synopsis:

It’s the early 1970s, and Ron Stallworth (John David Washington) is the first African-American detective to serve in the Colorado Springs Police Department. Determined to make a name for himself, Stallworth bravely sets out on a dangerous mission: infiltrate and expose the Ku Klux Klan

we had to have a stop-motion Animated film in our list and it couldn’t be anything but Wes Andersons Isle of Dogs the film is impressive!

Synopsis:

An outbreak of canine flu in Japan leads all dogs to be quarantined on an island. A boy (voice of Koyu Rankin) journeys there to rescue his dog Spots (Liev Schreiber) and gets help from a pack of misfit canines who have also been exiled. His quest inspires a group of dog lovers to expose a government conspiracy.

Crazy Rich Asians

S/O to the ladies in the team, a Rom-Com had to make the list! Crazy Rich Asians is actually a good watch for anyone that likes light-hearted comedy and the finer things in life.

Synopsis: 

“Crazy Rich Asians” follows native New Yorker Rachel Chu (Wu) as she accompanies her longtime boyfriend, Nick Young (Golding), to his best friend’s wedding in Singapore. What Rachel doesn’t  know is that Nick is not only the son of one of the country’s wealthiest families but also one of its most sought-after bachelors. Being on Nick’s makes Rachel’s a target, with jealous socialites and, worse, Nick’s own disapproving mother (Yeoh) taking aim.

We at Trapped HQ love a Superhero Movie and Avengers 2 has so many in one film plus a crazy showdown with Thanos, it just has to make the list!

Synopsis:

There is nothing better for a Top Movies list than a sequel and Deadpool 2 really came back and delivered on comedic expectations.

Synopsis

After surviving a near-fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Miami’s hottest bartender, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor.

Although a late release, this is a film the whole team has been waiting to see and we definitely couldn’t miss it off the Top Movies list.

Synopsis:

Between personal obligations and training for his next big fight Adonis Creed is up against the challenge of his life. Facing an opponent with ties to his family’s past only intensifies his impending battle in the ring. Rocky Balboa is there by his side through it all and, together, Rocky and Adonis will confront their shared legacy.
