Jordans will forever be popular, but recently Adidas over took Jordan brand as the second biggest sneaker brand in the US (Nike still remains in the top spot). Thanks to likes of boost, new silhouettes and of course Kanye West the German retailer has increased exponentially over the last couple of years, but understandably Jordan Brand is already cooking up a plan to regain its second place.
Detailed in an article published on the Barrons website that details how the swoosh plans to elevate Jordan Brand back to the number two spot. The two key points interesting for the consumer are these “pull back from unhealthy distribution channels, recommit to maintaining the Jordan brand’s image of scarcity,” So yes you read that right Jordans will be limited again; and according to renowned Instagram leaker @Pinoe77 believes the scarcity will kick in May 2018.
