Rihanna is the New Creative Director and Brand Ambassador for Puma



Puma have been careful with their celebrity selections as far as brand Ambassadors go, having recently bought Usain Bolt and football star Mario Balotellii onto the team but it seems that their patience and selectiveness has paid off as the sporting goods brand has just appointed Female RnB / Pop Singer and Fashion icon Rhianna into the fold.

Rhianna will work with the Puma’s fitness and training line, customising classic styles and creating new ranges including apparel as well as shoes. She will also act as the company’s global brand ambassador and star in Puma’s ad campaign for Autumn 2015.

Puma are definitely keeping with the top two sporting brands Nike and adidas with this move and their Marketing effectiveness will go up another level as Rhianna brings a staggering 14.1 million followers on Instagram and 38.3 million followers on Twitter to the table.
