Following the arrest of R Kelly over sexual abuse claims and the documentary that shocked the world ‘Surviving R Kelly’ the international RnB Superstar has officially been charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse in Cook County, According to US newspaper the Chicago Tribune, three of the charges “referred to a minor between the ages of 13 and 16.” The artist will appear in court on March 8.
According to TMZ the charges follow a grand jury being assembled to investigate the alleged sex tape that attorney Michael Avenatti sent to police. 12 women testified for the grand jury, including one who provided physical evidence.
