Dickies Life Desert Expedition Collection that dropped today – authentic utility tailoring for a modern urban setting. Inspired by 1930’s desert expedition attire, the collection takes design cues from classic workwear and military style garments and features a selection of comfortable and functional products made for a warmer climate.

The Desert Expedition range explores authentic utility tailoring for a modern urban setting. A head-to-toe ensemble of timeless fatigue silhouettes inspired by 1930s desert expedition attire, the collection presents a well-made selection of comfortable and functional products made for a warmer climate.

Taking design cues from classic workwear and military style garments, the Desert Expedition collection highlights a new pant silhouette this season, the Glyndon, inspired by a classic military style Fatigue pant. Originally made for US army officers for training and utility work purposes, the style was soon adopted by various subcultures including skateboarders, who favoured the style of pant thanks to its durable fabric and construction. A short style version also features.

Further standout pieces from the collection include the Glyndon Vest and Funkley Shirt which can be worn together for a statement look or styled comfortably with products in the rest of the pack. The Cuban style Quamba shirt is the perfect boxy and breezy summer-time shirt. The collection is rounded out with a classic bucket hat, socks and for the first time ever, the Dickies towel.

An eye-catching tiger camo print runs throughout in fresh summer colourways of yellow, light pink and navy. Fabrics are kept light and seasonal, with a focus on a classic herringbone in 100% cotton, reflective of original Utility garments. A compact poplin also features with a garment dyed finish, creating a unique, authentic look.
