Aime Leon Dore a creative collective from NYC that have been producing limited collections of high quality tailored streetwear and dropping them throughout 2014 were underground and then Hypebeast and a few other popular blogs picked up on the brand and the demand for their collections meant that they were selling out within minutes of dropping online. So just into 2015 with their 3rd collection in the works, it is the perfect time for someone with Ronnie’s status in the streetwear game to jump on board and do a collab.
The Aime LEon Dore x KITH Chapter 1 collection is inspired by Muhammad Ali and draws fuses Professional Boxing with streetwear, something entirely unique, the ten piece collection includes the brands signature Astoria Robe, updated to include a two-button front placket; the Hillside Crew features subtle reverse terry branding on the chest, KITHS’s Frayed Hoody updated to include a waffle-thermal lining with the tailored cotton rib Roosevelt Joggers and a beanie hat, each piece comes in two colourways, black and oxblood and is named after streets in Queens New York, The collection drops tomorrow online.
