Wu-Tang are forever- The masters of the rap game are not finished with  Music. Wu- Tang Clan are foremost about creativity and expression and this has motivated them to do a first in the Rap game, create a single copy of a secret album that they have been recording since 1997.  The rappers will exhibit the work, which is made up up of beats similar to their vintage production we all love them for, in museums, galleries and festivals, before the one off LP will be sold. The double Album is entitled The Wu – Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, and is made up of  31-tracks, with production from 18-year-old Tarik “Civalringz” Azzougarh.

Wu-Tang member RZA spoke with Forbes Magazine, saying:

”We’re about to sell an album like nobody else sold it before, We’re about to put out a piece of art like nobody else has done in the history of [modern] music.  We’re making a single-sale collector’s item. This is like somebody having the scepter of an Egyptian king. The idea that music is art has been something we advocated for years … And yet its doesn’t receive the same treatment as art in the sense of the value of what it is, especially nowadays when it’s been devalued and diminished to almost the point that it has to be given away for free.”

We will keep you updated on the release.
