Tinie Tempah has been busy in the studio recently, with his latest mixtape ‘Junk Food Tapes’. The 27 year olds first release from the mixtape was ‘We Don’t Play No Games’ ft MoStack & Sneakbo which has caused a huge hype and has been added to BANG’s A playlist! Following the release of ‘We Don’t Play No Games’ the artist has dropped the self-titled documentary, taking its viewers through the journey that put together the mixtape. The mixtape features guest appearances from some of the hottest producers, Radio presenters, writers and artists in the game like Giggs, J Avalanche, Wretch 32, Stormzy, Reggie Yates, JME, J Hus, Richie Montana, Wiz Kid and more! The 7 minute insightful documentary follows Tinie Tempah over the period of time it took him to put together, including his love for actual junk food, the collaborations, travelling from gig to gig and more.
However, to many die-hard grime fans, Tinie’s absence from the Grime scene is unforgivable. Instead of returning to fit back into the genre after a few years of commercial success, the rapper has used Junk Food to bring some of UK Grime’s biggest names to him. Regardless of what a Grime fan thinks of Tinie, it’s hard to deny that his global success outshines most of their favourite artists!
