The Free Yard was conceived by streetwear brand Esoteric London’s Creative Director Chloe Hope King to provide a regular event offering a collaborative showcasing platform for young niche brands and up and coming performers. The event launched the first weekend of May 2013 at Arch365 in Clapham and was a great success, with exclusive products from some of London’s best underground brands and an impressive line-up including Blatantly Blunt artists – Shaodow, Ten Dixon & Jon E Clayface and Holdin’ Court’s Benny Diction and Tony Skank.
Proving that the UK streetwear scene can certainly rival the US, Britain’s best underground urban and streetwear brands will be coming together for the second Free Yard event. Each pop-up event is housed in a different London location; combining a house party vibe with a showcase of special and limited edition menswear, womenswear and accessories; many with exclusive Free Yard only discounts and promotions. The brands exhibiting are , 4649 Worldwide, , Depistar, Kicks On The Moon, Young Grafters, Griffin Allstar, Trainerholics, Sock It To You, Illyptic Clothing, , Gyeno, Sirkit Damage, Pin The Tail, Man Done Good, Gusto, South Central, Born Ready, Oggle, Geekstar World, Mula Cake and Something About Elizabeth and many more.
As well as Hot UK Streetwear there will be live acts ranging from street dance and spoken word to grime and hip-hop music. On the Sunday there will also be live art from renowned street artists Jam Free and CJD.
As always the event is FREE ENTRY.
