This July, London, Peckham will play host to summer of somewhereto_ a three-week festival extending across six regions (Aberystwyth, Antrim, Glasgow, Lancaster, Leicester and London), celebrating fresh young talent in amazing spaces. Open to 16-25 year olds, each region will holda plethora of exciting one-off events and activities which range from music, dance and theatre performances, to selling food, clothing apparel and designs, to film screenings, exhibitions, workshops, master-classes and panel discussions.
Individual cities and towns will be represented by young dynamic people, who have each contributed something positive within their communities.Kay Davis, London’s official young ambassador for summer of somewhereto_ was born and raised in South-East London. She recently graduated in art honing her creative passions in painting and textiles, Kay opened her first exhibition earlier this year in a somewhereto_ space. Dedicating her time to summer of somewhereto_, Kay is a shining example of inspiring homegrown talent. She will lead celebrations onThursday 10 July with a live art battle and a week-long exhibition of her current contemporary work
