Spotify today announced their first episode of ‘Who We Be Talks_’ hosted by co-presenter, Parris OH who is a music executive who works for Spotify, with the first ep hosted by, Dj Semtex which aims to bring music genres such as Hip Hop & grime to a larger audience.
Following the success of the first season, Dj Semtex sits down with rapper, and most recently actor, Ghetts to talk about his latest album, Ghetto Gospel: The New Testament & his music, recorded in front of a live audience at his album launch party last week in London.
Parris OH, Co-presenter, said: “I am thrilled to be joining the Who We Be TALKS_ line-up, working with Semtex on what has become a must-listen show for urban music fans in the UK, and around the world.”
The first season was a massive hit, with 11 episodes curated by Semtex, who, with this industry respect and knowledge gave artists the free pass to open up about their personal lives, music and the UK culture.
Semtex said: “This is big. We knew we had something special with the original run of shows, and to bring all the new changes to this season and take it weekly is going to cement Who We Be TALKS_ as the number one podcast in urban culture.”
Who We Be TALKS_ has continued to go from strength to strength, with the latest season being 50 episodes which will both explore the culture and the music.
