Tottenham Grime emcee Skepta took to Instagram, to announce his partnership in the re-launch of Uniqlo’s global flagship store on London’s Oxford Street. Skepta will become the fashion brands “Cultural Ambassador and will front their new collection as the brand seek to become more of a lifestyle brand with streetwear appeal.
Along with the re-launch, Uniqlo will also be hosting a new monthly event at London’s Tate Modern Gallery called ‘Uniqlo Fridays’. The series of late night events will happen on the first Friday of every month starting in October 2016. Uniqlo will be re-opening the doors of its Oxford Street store at 8am on Friday, March 18.
