If you are familiar with Menswear blogs, you might have heard of Four Pins, part of the Complex Network, the Satirical commentary on the latest Menswear news. After four years the Blog is now shutting down. Four Pins made the following statement.
“After a considerable number of meetings and an arduous process of deliberation, and given the current climate of digital media #menswear, we have decided that, after four years of pummeling the internet with the most fire ‘fits, biggest ethers, skin-melting roasts, and having yanked the souls of the fuccbois out of their lifeless bodies, the future of the the [sic] best menswear site ever conceived in the long and sordid history of the internet is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯”
The world of Menswear publications is suffering a few losses this year, Details Magazine has shut down and GQ have a laid off a lot of staff. One of the Founders and the Editor in Chief of Four Pins, Lawrence Schlossman has moved over to resale site Grailed. But there is a silver lining for Four Pins readers and fans, their Twitter account will continue to Tweet fashion updates.
