Ronnie Fieg took to Instagram last night to show us a teaser of his latest collaboration, this time he’s teaming up with New Balance. After the Black Friday drop last year which saw Fieg release the New Balance 1600 “Daytona” this year the 850 is the silhouette of choice.
This sneaker features a Dark Blue/Cream colourway with hints of red throughout. The Light Blue laces are covered in branded designs that include “RF” and “NB” lace locks and KITH printing of the lace itself.
With the official release date not revealed we look to Fieg’s personal Instagram account after last week he hinted at a Black Friday release.
Fieg posted a photo of the 2013 Black Friday release with the caption “Last Year, Black Friday. This year…” ending with the speak-no-evil monkey emoji. The same emoji was used for last night’s teaser, which could indicate that the Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 850 is the 2014 Black Friday release.
