The Reebok “Big Hurt” sneaker is the signature shoe of former White Sox baseballer Frank Thomas and is part of Reebok’s separate collection line ‘Mobius’ which was added in 1996 due to the diverse attitudes among sneakerheads. Presented with a hexalite sided sole unit to make them more practical for the street vs the baseball field, this 2 colour way monochrome blocked sneaker has its fair amount of brand logo’s, with perforated circular hollowing shapes dotted around the entire body and sole of the trainer and a breathable mesh underlay covering the lace area. Admittedly, these are going to have a ‘love/hate’ attitude with sneakerheads but undeniably they are a great piece of design from the 90’s sportsman era. With Reeboks huge reissue overhaul its refreshing to see that their taking risks with these throwback kicks. Available online at http://www.crookedtongues.com/.
