Red Bull Studios and lifestyle brand Places + Faces release a genre spanning 12-track mixtape, featuring the likes of drill crew 67, Numbers’ Darq E Freaker, hip-hop-come-spoken word hybrid Kojey Radical, Funkystepz’ Scrufizzer, Northampton’s gritty wordsmith Slowthai and more. Released alongside the tape is also a brand new video from 67 for their new track ‘First Degree’ which features exclusively on the tape.
To celebrate the launch of the mixtape, Red Bull hosted a night-time rave at Hackney Wick spot Studio Spaces with an all star line up from the tape. Which included AUX GOD, Benny Mails, Cravemoore, Daniel OG,Danny Seth, Darqe Freaker, Fredwave & Kaisen.
As part of the collaboration with Red Bull, Places + Faces also opened two-day special pop-up shop located on Berwick Street, which sold previously unreleased items and also housed an exhibition of founder Ciseay’s photographs captured at Red Bull Studios as the mixtape was recorded.
