Puma have thought of sportswear from every angle this season, and with a strong focus on 90’s aesthetics their collection ranges from elegance to vibrancy. Below we look at the five key themes within their collection in more detail, but with so much choice it is difficult to choose a favourite.
The ‘Opulence’ theme within the collection uses a combination of bold metallic hues in order to represent the celebration of grace, simplicity and style within their sportswear.
Another theme within the new collection is ‘Tropicalia’, which gets its major influence from the vibrancy of Brazilian culture and art, reflected in the bright patterns and colours featured used in this aspect of the collection.
The more technical theme of their newest collection is ‘Archive Running’, focusing on their continued high quality and innovation, especially when it comes to their achievements in running technology.
Brazil remains a key theme for Puma after reintroducing their Suede Brazilian inspired trainers, but this time they’ve been inspired to create even more apparel that boast the bold yellow and green colours.
The final aspect of their SS14 collection is their premium MMQ range, focussing on the high quality heritage at Puma that has helped put them on the map as both a sportswear and streetwear brand across the world.
