Pixelstick – a revolution in light painting

Add photo real images, abstract designs, and animation to your long exposure photos and time-lapse.- Bitbanger Labs

If you are a photographer, a videographer or anyone really you will love this potential product. Light painting has been around for over 100 years and the basis of it is taking a long exposure picture (when the shutter speed is high) and using a light draw an image, this then appears on the picture.

But the guys at Bitbanger Labs in New York have taken this to an exciting new level. They have invented a light stick which they call the Pixelstick. It is a stick made with over 100 LED lights.

The stick can be set to numerous settings to produce different effects, with in your photos, time-lapses or animations.

Check out the video below for a full explanation. This is a kick starter project and is looking for funding to be produced, they are already doing well. To fund the project and find out what prizes you can win follow this link.
