It ‘s a waiting game for sneaker collectors right now as they anticipate the wait on whether the self-lacing Nike Mag will be dropping today on it’s rumoured release date – “ October 21st 2015”.
Twitter went into a frenzy on September 9th after Max Erdenberger tweeted a picture of what could be our first glimpse of the new light-up Nike Mag, with the caption of “October 21, 2015”. The date itself holds meaning of time travelling, as that is the date that Marty McFly traveled to the future in the classic movie ‘Back to the Future, Part II’.
More fuel has being added to the speculation of an October release as the Delorean – the time travelling car from the iconic film, has been seen in Shoreditch East London in different spots for the last week and a half. But with Nike’s lips still sealed at this point, we’ll have to wait with baited breath for the sportswear brand to possibly disclose any information.
But make sure you prepare yourself on the plethora that is about to be born. For with the 2011 release and Auction nobody knew that the Nike Mag was coming out until the actual day.
If only a time machine existed!…
