Martin Shkreli is the epitome of a lost, sad soul that was craving attention so badly he used money to get it, and if the charges against him are correct, he used someone else’s money, what a great FAIL.
The world’s most hated pharmaceutical executive first raised the price of an AIDS treatment drug, then invested in Collect Records and bought Wu-Tang Clan’s one-off $2 million album. These two attention grabbing acts were followed by public claims that he was in the process of bailing Bobby Shmurda out of jail. What a donut! his actions got enough of the wrong attention that even Donald Trump called him a “spoiled brat”.
Well finally all that stunting and high end living has come to end as the 32 year old has gotten himself arrested. The charges against him relate to fraud, he is being accused of illegally taking stock from Retrophin Inc., a biotechnology firm he started in 2011, and using it pay off debts from unrelated business dealings. Shkreli is being accused of playing a complicated illegal shell game after his defunct hedge fund, MSMB Capital Management, lost millions. He is alleged to have made secret payoffs and set up sham consulting arrangements.
