So the King is in the Trapped Magazine building a bit late, but always here to give you your weekly dose of Sneaker medicine!! Ok since we are literally in the swing of the Tennis season of Wimbledon. Its only right that the King switches it up and gives you his Top 5 Tennis Sneakers!! ACE!

5. Size? x Nike Tennis Classic AC “Court Surfaces” Pack

So Size? do it again they are probably the most consistent sneaker shop in the world, with their exclusive colourways and collaborations and they are not slowing down one bit, as you can see with this classic Tennis sneaker collab with Nike. These sneakers are so dope, with a crocodile skin finish and coming in a few different colours to match your green grass picnic fresh outfit. Available 4th July 2014

4. K Swiss The Classic II

The Original US Tennis Trainer and an institution in American culture, go ahead and ask any american if they own a pair of K Swiss. Anyway they are back this summer in stealth mode releasing some really dope sneakers. The Classic II is definitely one you will be seeing worn with some summer shorts on this side of the pond cause they are low key and dope, so when you are looking for an alternative Tennis sneaker to buy the King will definitely recommend this one! Out now.

3. Footpatrol x adidas Originals Edberg ’86 “Strawberries & Cream”

You already knew that the King Of Trainers had to mention this Footpatrol and Adidas Edberg 86 collaboration, simply because the launch of these was so dope. Footpatrol hired a ice cream van and gave out ice cream all night!! Siick! Ok back to the sneaker itself. The detail and colour of these are spot on, not to mention they came in a custom made Krate and Co box which was the cherry on the cake or should I say Strawberry on the ice cream. These are sold out at footpatrol but a world wide release is coming soon, so keep your eye on the @KingOfTrainers Instagram page to find out when.

2.New Balance CT300

The New balance CT300 was originally released in 1979 and was that Sneaker of the time, it was their 1st signature silhouette and they are back with a Killer 4 way collaboration with 4 selected independent sneaker boutiques and you know what? I am convinced that they did a good job, the sneakers are all hand made in the UK with premium materials and in some very unique colours making them a must have for a summer. Out now

1. Nike Air Tech Challenge II “Wimbledon”

And The Tennis sneakers championship goes to Nike with these amazing Tech Challenge, which unfortunately where only sold in Footpatrol in the UK but are available in some online stores. These are very limited edition , featuring  a ruffled leather finish with a silk and leather luxury interior and Nylon laces. (it sounds like I am describing a Mercedes Car interior)  I am talking about these dope Grand Slam Nikes and possibly one of the dopest Tech Challenge I’ve seen. Sold out in store but available in some online stores.

And that is it Game Set And Match.

Peace and remember to Keep it KING’ING!!

Keep up with the King of Trainers on his Website:
