After the long wait Kendrick Lamar has officially released his video for his new single ‘King Kunta’. Was it worth the wait? we definitely think so. Kendrick has switched it up this time by taking us back in time where music videos had more meaning. He has provided us with a more hood and some may even say more urban feel in this new video by setting it in his hometown of Compton, casually driving through the city of California with his homies by his side. In comparison to Kendrick’s other videos this one in particular is seemingly touching the old school vibe with a modern touch which is cool, very cool and works. Not only is the video pretty funky due to its scenery,motorbikes, old school vintage cars and casual dancing in the street like back in the day similar to when artist & groups such as MC Hammer, Run DMC and Ton Loc’ were known for doing this.
