The angel design from the latest edition of the KD 7 ‘Aunt Pearl’ comes from a tattoo design Kevin Durant has of his late grandma who passed away to cancer.
The Nike KD 7 consists of “White”, “Metallic Gold”, “Pink Pow” and “Pure Platinum” with an all White base made from the Hyperposite material sole similar to the Hyperposite shoe. Along the base and mid-sole it features detailing on the KD logo.
The main detailing on the shoe comes from the angel wing strap which has special eye capturing wording from KD’s late aunt and features a message under the strap. On the inside of the tongue you will find KD’s tattoo design.
Finally on the back of the shoe you will find a Kay Yow Fund logo on the heel.
This shoe will be put on shelves February 19th and will be stocked at select Nike retailers.
