Its been a long standing conversation in the media world that print magazines are suffering a huge decline in popularity and sales and today that conversation was confirmed as facts as two of the UK’s top lad’s mags FHM and Zoo announced that they are suspending their publications. FHM, which at its peak in 2000 sold 700,000 copies recorded sales of just 67,000 in the first six months of 2015, whilst ZOO sold 260,000 in 2005 and recorded sales of just 24,000 this year. Both the Print and Digital versions of FHM and ZOO will cease to trade.

Parent Media company Bauer Media released the following statement:

“I would like to thank our advertisers and retailers who have supported the brands and I’m sure that everyone who has worked on FHM and Zoo over the years will be sorry to hear this news.”
