Following Gucci’s controversial removal of a Black Turtleneck jumper that had a strong resemblance to racist blackface imagery, Dapper Dan a strong collaborator with the Italian Fashion house has spoken out against the piece on Instagram:
The CEO of Gucci has agreed to come from Italy to Harlem this week to meet with me, along with members of the community and other industry leaders.
