Earlier in the week we mentioned that Aime Leon Dore were set to open a Concept shop and Photo Exhibit in New York City, well the store is open and we can give you guys a closer look. Throughout the space, visitors are surrounded by elements that reflect growing up in New York City thanks to photos taken by NYC-based photographer Andrew Jacobs dubbed the ‘Class of…’ Exhibition. The images are a reflective array of nostalgia including pieces such as the iconic Air Force 1, quarter waters, legendary Air Jordan 1, classic cassette tapes and much more.
The apparel side of things get back to the brands streetwear roots with basketball graphic hoodies, crewneck sweaters and T-shirts, wool-blocked track jackets, moleskin pants, high quality logo windbreakers, and basketball-inspired satin jackets with Aimé branding. Tying the apparel and imagery together is a special T-shirt collection featuring prints of the photos from the exhibition.
The Concept shop and Exhibtion will be open now until December 23rd. Check out some of the imagery below and if you are local give the space a visit.
