When the Drone game is at its highest ever theres always gonna be someone who tops them and all, Chinese startup company Ehang are that someone. The company have unvelied their Ehang184 Autonomous Aerial Vehicle — a one-seater drone that is capable of carrying an individual of up to 220 lbs. With the tagline of “the safest, ECO-est [sic] and Smartest low altitude autonomous aerial vehicle,” the Ehang184 allows fully automated flight, with vehicle operation being as simple as drawing a flight path to a nearby destination and then tapping the ‘launch’ button on the tablet app.
A prototype is already in existence, the aircraft’s speed at 100km/h and a flight ceiling of 500 meters, with a flight duration of 23 minutes. Keep an eye on their website here, as this may be the prompt for developing flying cars, who knows?
