Established in 2012, Swindon born creative magazine and streetwear brand Blu Label present their all new four piece “Mellow Thrills” collection for SS14. Avoiding the heavy branding apparent amongst many current ranges, Blu Label opt instead for more simplistic, hand illustrated designs that draw inspiration from the diversity of everyday life, with a heavy influence taken from their personal interests including aspects of travel, surf and skate ideals.
Also adding a comical presence to their selection such as the “Search and Annoy” t-shirt which depicts a cartoon police officer emblazoned across the front, representing the frustrations faced by street artists and skaters being chased or stopped by the authorities.
Broadening their skill set beyond t-shirt designs, each order also comes with a free 36 page magazine which expresses appreciation for other young creatives including interviews and content from the likes of photographer Cameron Gardner and Illustrator Kyle Platts.
