A new French footwear brand born in late 2012, Baron Papillom describes their trainers as high-end basketball style sneakers. The 2013 collections USP is the easy-on function with trademark 180 degrees Velcro back-strap, also designed for extra stability, and boasts a cork herbal insert which allows maximum breathability, allowing you to wear them barefoot if you so wish. The sneakers come in a variety of textures, patterns and colours, from zebra and hot neons to cool black leather and soft suede, while others have added rhinestones and stud detail for an edgier, street style inspired look. As a final touch the outer sole displays an exclusive design of the view of Parisian streets from the Place Beaubourg. 2013 saw the brand expand its point of sale from across France to Italy, Luxembourg and Belgium, so it’s only a matter of time before it crosses the channel and hits stores in the UK.
