Out with the old and in with the new is Nikes attitude to staffing it seems these days. Today Nike Founder Phil Knight officially retired from his active role as Chairman for the sportswear company, and was quickly replaced by former Apple CEO, Tim Cook who will take on the role of leading Nike’s board of members as independent director. Tim Cook is no stranger to Nike however as he has been on the board since 2005. The New replacement will help Nike CEO Mark Parker as he takes the roles of president, CEO and chairman of the company. We are excited to see what the new changes means for us the consumers.
