The KA & GRM Daily Rated Awards 2018 took place last night for the 4th time at the Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith. Hosted by Mo The Comedian and Julie Adenuga, the pair effortlessly presented the show, entertained the crowd, and indulged in a little spat with Naughty Boy!
The first award of the night was The Personality of The Year Award, which was awarded to Micheal Dapaah who has had a roller-coaster year with the sensational Mans Not Hot and, more recently, Man Don’t Dance. Picking up the award, he said: “It’s mad, I just want to thank God for this. You know a couple of years ago we weren’t here and now we’re here – don’t let anyone stop you from what you want to do.”
Not3s took home the Artist of the Year Award. D Double E took home The GRM Legacy Award (Supported by BBC Radio1 Xtra) for his service to the industry over the last 15 years.
