Apple shoppers in the UK have been missing their flagship store on Regent Street since it closed down the entire upper section for refurbishment.
Well guess what the store is about to fully re-open on Saturday the 15th October. apple customers can expect a future-forward retail concept similar to that of the new San Fransisco Flagship store that opened in May. In collaboration with Sir Jonathan Ive, Apple’s chief design officer, and Angela Ahrendts, VP of retail and online stores, architectural titan Foster + Partner has removed part of the mezzanine to create a double-height atrium, enhancing the building’s original elements. They have Increased natural light, added trees and what’s alleged to be the longest luminous ceiling panel in the world. We dont know about you but we will be down there with our camera phones out as soon as the doors open!
