Conceived in a pub in Glasgow in 2011, Abandon Ship Apparel is best known for their creative illustrations and unique take on the shapes and cuts of their t-shirts, and it is this experimental attitude that allows them to stand out amongst streetwear brands. As well as their creativity and commitment to the customer, they have been able to push further afield due to the global platform given to them by retailers, such as ASOS who currently stock their collection. When they first began, the founders, Richard Davies and Duncan Sweeney, dreamt of transforming the streetwear scene with an array of striking, innovative designs. The continuous pushing of boundaries and ability to think outside the box when it comes to design and prints makes them an interesting feature to the UK fashion industry.
