Skepta has today announced his Big Smoke Festival, an inaugural one-day music event heading to Crystal Palace Park on Saturday 06 July 2024. The influential Mercury Prize winner will curate two stages at the South London venue, bringing a star-studded multi-genre lineup of global artists alongside his own live set.
Skepta made the announcement on Instagram Live, saying: “I’m gassed to finally announce that Big Smoke Festival is official… it’s been a couple years that you didn’t see me on a stage. I really wanted to save all that energy and put it into something that was for us, by us.”
Crystal Palace Park is London’s original outdoor concert venue, with previous performers including The Rolling Stones, Bob Marley and Pink Floyd.
