BET have announced the nominations for the upcoming BET Awards in June and there’s good news for UK music. Six British artists: Craig David, Emeli Sande, Giggs, Skepta, Stormzy and Wiley are all up for the Best International Award (Europe).
In terms of other artists, Beyonce leads the way, the Lemonade artist has seven nominations to her name including Best Female R&B/Pop Artist and Video Of The Year for her track ‘Sorry’. Bruno Mars has five nominations while Migos, Chance The Rapper and Beyonce’s younger sister Solange all have four nominations. The awards ceremony will take place on the 25th of June at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles with performances on the night by the likes of Young Thug, Kendrick Lamar, Beyonce & more.
