After attending various launch events and brand-sponsored drinking sessions, we can safely say that Puma raised the bar for hospitality and left us feeling that we were all that bit closer to the brand. The ‘A Touch of Class Dinner’ really showed that the brand had thought carefully about presentation, styling and atmosphere, all things that make a difference to us at Trapped.
The Campaigns slogan ‘A Touch of Class’ was immediately evident from the moment we arrived at the private dining room at East London’s Bistroteque restaurant. the floor had been styled with the markings of a tennis court using gold foil the table seating plan was on an artists easel allowing everyone to know who their neighbour for the evening would be for that all-important Networking opportunity. The Waiting staff and assistants wore Tennis umpire uniforms and kept the cocktails flowing whilst everybody arrived, around the room was an umpire’s chair, showcasing the ‘Courtstar’ for photograph opportunities and a quick admiration of the detailing.
Once the room was full of good-humoured banter and hungry people, we were shown to a large white table with individual places adorned with personal name cards, PUMA branded napkins, menus and Monogrammed towels folded over the back of each chair, we really felt looked after. After eating delicious well-presented food, talking to each other about the fashion industry, the sneaker industry and more, whilst listening to remixed Hip-hop classics played by a pianist, we were invited up one by one to be presented with a friends and family only presentation box of Court Stars. The presentation box was white and gold with embossed PUMA branding and a magnetic lid, inside the premium leather sneakers, were surrounded by gold satin prompting us to exclaim “Wow what a touch of class!”. We will bring you more details on the PUMA Court star itself ahead of the July 4th drop date.
