Hackney Rapper Mikill Pane steps into Charlie’s legendary booth to spit some fire, something we know a lot of Mikill’s fans have been waiting for and we were just a little disappointed to be honest his performance was like a gig at a local pub, very lazy and unprepared. The fact that Mikill came with his phone, something we thought had died out 5 years ago, (shouldn’t that be banned) did nothing to convince us that he took the platform seriously.
Don’t get us twisted Mikill Pane is a dope lyricist and his wordplay and content is from a completely new perspective when compared to what the mainstream and Fire in the Booth fans are being fed but we feel if it was delivered with more confidence and energy the performance would of been a lot more powerful.
