Maharishi has returned to the game this year with some notable capsule collections, including the ‘White Tiger’ release and the “Upcycled in London” collection. Its the start of Autumn and the brand has just dropped their Fall/Winter 2017 collection lookbook which features cold-weather pieces and takes inspiration from global travel.

As always maharishi has taken its inspiration from Central Asia with a strong focus on the 1960’s and indigenous groups at the time which include; the Ainu in Hokkaido and the Montagnards of the Vietnamese Central Highlands, all of which are demonstrated via pieces such as ponchos and kimonos, as well as hand-woven fabrics and graphics that are based on Japanese illustrations and artworks.

maharishi’s Fall/Winter 2017 lookbook also displays the brand’s seasonal camouflage with a pattern named “DPM: British Haze.” The camo is designed to mimic spray painting and comes in four different colorways: desert, woodland, night, and the US air force-inspired “skyline ghost.” In addition to the lookbook, the streetwear brand has released a campaign video featuring an exclusive piece of music by Richard Russell‘s Everything is Recorded project, which you can watch below.

You can pick up pieces from the collection now from the brand’s web store.
