With the summer coming up, we thought it would be a good idea to tell you all the games you can look forward to getting your hands on. So check out the list below for all the big blockbuster games that you’ll want to be playing this year.

1. Batman: Arkham Knight

The new installation of the Batman game series gives more amazing content than ever before. The upcoming game comes with a fresh storyline, allowing Batman to fight some your favourite DC villains such as Harley Quinn, Two Face, Penguin and Scarecrow. Better yet, this game will allow you to tag-in other allies of Batman to join the fight such as Nightwing, Robin, Catwoman and Azrael. Thanks to the power of next-gen consoles, the game allows you to discover more of Gotham. The icing on top of this delicious cake, is the fact that you will be able to drive the Batmobile, and use its various weapons and ‘Battle Mode’. I know, sounds cool right, make sure to snap up the game real quick when it is released, on the 23rd June, so you can play it in complete darkness and shout Batman quotes like “Where is she!” in your terrible Batman voice, or is that just me…

Either way check out the trailer now to witness the game in action.

2.FIFA 16

EA creator of the FIFA series is set to release it’s annual game, FIFA 16, on the 25th September. But it has been all quiet on the football front, with them only releasing one trailer, however, it is extremely significant. Women’s National Teams will be playable in FIFA 16. It is good that there is finally gender equality in the game, however, it does seem that it is long over due, but better late than never right? The game will allow you to play as women’s footballing stars such as the USA’s Alex Morgan and England’s Stephanie Houghton. Make sure to check out the trailer featuring them below.

3. PayDay2

This incredible heist game will allow you to experience the extreme tension, whilst playing with your friends, robbing coveted banks, to high street shops, allowing you to keep hostages and battle the cops to get as much stuff as you can. It also allows you to use a massive range of weapons, masks and gadgets. The game will be released on 12th June. Check out the quick 30 second trailer below

4.Rainbow Six: Siege

This game is actually is the one I am most looking forward to this year. It’s like the spy version of Call of Duty. In teams, you battle each other to either keep or take the hostage. You can take your time and discuss different tactical entry points like a SWAT team, or go full guns blazing in every direction. But make sure not to kill the hostage, because then it’s game over. The game allows you to use a host of gadgets and weapons such as riot shields, cameras, or the classic smoke grenade. You can bust through walls to create a tactical advantage or even blow up the floor and rain down from above. The choice is yours. Negotiation is not an option. The game will be released on 13th October. Check out the trailer below now to get a full look.

5. Assasin’s Creed: Syndicate

The lethal man hiding in the shadows is back…but this time, it’s in London! The time period is 1886, the height of the industrial revolution. The main protagonist is Jacob Frye. New weapons and gadgets include knuckledusters and a rope dart, similar to the one used in Batman: Arkham Asylum. Check out its debut trailer below. The confirmed release date is the 23rd October.
