Stone Island has released their Spring/Summer 2013 collection both online and through their stockists this week. The new collection sees 32 looks, boasting a wide variety of colour and design amongst them. S.I have always relied heavily on a culture of research, experimentation and the use are the matrixes to conjure up innovative and distinctive designs, and the pattern has continued here. Some of the materials used throughout the new batch are nylon monofilament, highly reflective or thermo-sensitive fabrics, which change colour given the fluctuations in temperature. Features also include non-woven materials, Kevlar, rhomboidal nets in polyester and more. Despite the heavy price tags associated with S.I, there’s no doubt that you’ll turn heads rocking their attire this summer.
