The whole Trapped team are sneaker lovers, so when the announcement was made that Sneakerness was to be held in Paris, we wasted no time booking our tickets and Hotels and joining our good friends Sneakerness is Europe’s largest Sneaker event brand which is now In its sixth year of providing a meeting place for sneakerheads from all across the world. Sneakerness Paris was held at CentQuarte, Paris’ version of London’s Somerset house on the 6th and 7th of September. Sellers from all over the world bought some of the most sought after silhouettes and hard to get recent releases to a hungry crowd of insatiable sneaker fanatics, some of the brands on display included adidas, Jordan, Nike, Asics and Puma, as well as the thousands of sneakers there was live music, gaming machines, Streetwear Apparel stalls and Food and drink ensuring that people could make a day of it.
We were sneakerness virgins, having only previously attended UK’s sneaker events and were thoroughly impressed by the organisation of the event and also the vast selection of sneakers on display and for sale, We would like to shout out a few of the great people that we met out there including, Francky B (Kith), Hichem.og (De Ja Vu Paris), the OverKill team and the guys from Paris’s newest sneaker boutique Piils.
