Two weeks ago we flew to Amsterdam with our sneakerhead homies King of Trainers and The Word on the Feet to check out the heat on the tables and vibes at Sneakerness. This was our second Sneakerness event and just like the first time we went we were thoroughly impressed. The heat on display on the tables had such variety and dope quality without overdoing it on the new releases and hype silhouettes, of course the Yeezy Boosts and NMD’s were in attendance but you could really do some grail shopping here if you had the money and the patience to hunt the tables.
The sneaker Boutiques, PRIME, Overkill, WOEI were in attendance as were brands ASICS, Crep Protect and OTS Paint shop and the food and Music were continuos throughout the day, ( the Amsterdam fries are amazing ), as well as kicks, clothes Music and food there was education advice and sneaker debates in the form of the Breakout Sessions and customising workshop. King of Trainers Francky B, Careaux Tim and Virgil from Patta were amongst the sneakerheads and influencers on the panels discussing everything sneaker culture and revealing their backstories and personal grails.
The vibe at this years Sneakerness was so chilled that we couldn’t tell you which day out of the Saturday or Sunday that we preferred. Big Shout out to Matthijs and the Sneakerness squad, Edson and the Patta squad for their hospitality whilst were in Amsterdam and the seven past eleven sneaker art collective for showcasing some real talent!.
