Do you have road beef with your opponent or is just a music thing?

With my opponent? nah he’s my boy, AK’s my bredrin

Do you view LOTM as a platform to promote your talent or a platform to test your talent?

Both, I see it as, because I’ve seen LOTM obviously from 1-5, so when it was my opportunity to clash, I used it as a platform to showcase my talent and at the same time I used it to clash , so I didn’t just go straight in for the kill I showed everyone that Im a barrers as well as I can clash, so I think its both you can push everything on the platform.

If you couldn’t clash with bars and had to clash with Musical Instruments which would you use and why?

I reckon an electric Guitar, cos that’s just like me innit its loud, and its in your face you can hear it , thats me.

Villain

Knowing that all of your fans will be watching you and possibly judging you based on this on this performance how much pressure is that and how does that affect your performance?

To me its not really no pressure, its not a lot, its a bi,t cos my clash is a close one, its not like argh it was a quick body or it was easy, nah AK had me on the ropes so it was a hard one but if you’re a Villain fan you’ll say Villain won if you’re an AK fan you’ll say AK won its one of den ones, so realistically theres no pressure for me cos I know what I done in the dungeon, I know I was alright.

What does Grime Music represent for you?

To me Grime is a lifestyle, our own little world, when I first watched LOTM1, Risky Roadz all of them DVD’s it just made me wanna be a part of that culture. Noone does Grime, only the UK, yeah the Americans are trying a little crossover ting, trying to sound like Grime but we have our own little bubble that we need to promote as much as we can, so yeah its a lifestyle.

What is it like to work with Jammer and the LOTM team are they supportive or is it intimidating knowing that they are veterans?

At first it was a bit intimidating cos we’ve seen everything they’ve done from young so you wanna be a part of it, so finally its like I’m working with Jammer and thats a good thing ,cos when I was young I used to listen to him, if I was to go to ‘Young Man Standing’ he’d be there shutting it down, getting like six reloads for the intro of ‘Merkle Man’ and stuff like that so realistically that inspires a lot of us young artists from today, not a lot of them would admit it but nah you gotta pay your respects to da LOTM platform and what its doing for Grime right now, its a big privilege to be involved I’m very grateful.
