Skate fans and fashion fans will be happy to hear that London’s very own House of Vans is opening next month.
A music venue, art gallery, artist studio, café, cinema and London’s only permanent indoor skatepark will be the features of the store. The House of Vans will make the Old Vic Tunnels beneath Waterloo Station their home from the 9th August.
Each feature will be housed in one of the 3,000 square metre venues tunnels, with 4and 5 housing the indoor skatepark and tunnel 3 forming a Music venue with an 850 capacity, which will play host to launch parties and various numbers of bands over the length of The House of Vans Residency
In Tunnel 2 four studios for both emerging and established artists and a space for workshops and art exhibitions will be available, interlinking all of the featured sections will be a Cinema, Cafe and themed bars ensuring every visitor will find something to do. The House of Vans concept was first started in Brooklyn and we are really excited to see the UK being included in their plans, we will keep you updated with info on events that will take place over the residency.
