You know the drill at this point. A new episode of Blonde Radio releases, and we get a new Frank Ocean song or two. This time we get Provider. The track has the usual ethereal sound we come to expect from Franky at this point. Frank is a man known for wearing his inspirations of his sleeve, and this track follows suit. With mentions of Goku (Dragon Ball Z) Stanley Kubrick (A legendary film director) and the Talking Heads (An indie band that Frank referenced when he listed his favourite songs).
2017 seems to be the year that Frank Ocean embraces rapping as we were also treated to a remix of 2 Chainz’s Rolls Royce B***h. Unfortunately there is currently no CDQ version of the track so unless you have an Apple Music account you’ll have to pray for a proper release. Until then you can stream Provider below.
