Up and coming producer ‘Fade’ (real name Matt Lally) breaks down the notions of his craft as the teenage wiz talks to us about his inspirations, influences and where they stem from.
At the tender age of only 14 Fade began constructing Dubstep and experimenting with a range of sounds. Initially just an introduction to the production side of music. His first taste of Trap came in the form of Stooki Sound, Hucci & Baauer, all of whom influenced Fade to take to FL Studio. Now 16, Fade has been creating Trap for just under a year, his sound is reminiscent of his UK influences, yet he has bought his own take on the genre to the forefront of his music, all of which has helped in the gaining of his significant following.
After recently achieving significant milestones including over a 250,000 plays on soundcloud, Fade looks to the future. He’s plotting and scheming for the coming year and years ahead, the past two years have given the youngster a taste he wishes to become more than familiar with.
