ESPN & Netflix Announce Michael Jordan Docuseries

The ten-part document anthology, directed by Andre the Giant‘s Jason Hehir, will recount the rise of Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls, as well as the subsequent growth of popularity in the NBA during the ’90s.

 

The docuseries was made with the backing of Jordan himself, as well as other notable figures from the Bulls’ championship teams. It will highlight over 500 hours of footage never seen from the team’s ‘97-’98 season, complete with commentary with several stars. The Last Dance is due to air in 2019.
