The custom game has blown up after the past few years and many artists have paired up with some big brands to go on to create capsule collections and one off editions, that have sold out the world over. Darren aka Doctor Romanelli is one of those artists. Since he began experimenting in the 90’s, he has had his hands in several design ‘pies’ working with clothing, footwear and even furniture.
Converse, Stussy, Huf and Nike have all been under the ‘DRx’ (his signature stamp) knife, having their designs re-mastered into individual and unique custom pieces. Most recently he has collaborated with UK brand British Knights to produce some one-off outerwear, adding a touch of LA to LDN. Take a peek at his lab through DrRomanelli.com.
