The Weeknd is getting awards and accolades left right and centre, as he has just taken home Grammy Awards for the Best Urban Contemporary Album and the Best R&B Performance for “Earned It” last year. Now the R&B artist has just jumped into the Guinness World Book of Records twice!!

The Toronto artist celebrates celebrates the one-year anniversary of ‘Beauty Behind the Madness’ in style as he learns that his triple-platinum album has just earned him a spot in the Guinness World Records 2017 Edition, slated for a September 8 release.

The Weeknd first reached a Guiness Book of World records Milestone in 2015 for the most streamed album on Spotify in one year with the same album ‘Beauty Behind the Madness’ which amassed 60 million listeners on the streaming service.

His second Milestone was that he was awarded for the most consecutive weeks in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Hot 100 by a solo male artist. The worldwide star maintained his spot in the Top 10 for 45 consecutive weeks between March 7, 2015 and January 9, 2016 with singles “Earned It,” “Can’t Feel My Face” and “The Hills,” with the latter two reaching Billboard’s No. 1 spot.

While artists are publicly decrying that theres no money in Music and that Music isn’t 100% a priority its good to see that their is proof to the contrary, keep believing and achieving.
