“I don’t know why Chip mentioned my name, but Devilman is trying to get attention again.”
With Devilman replying to Chip earlier this week, the track also revived his feud with Skepta, using lines from their Lord of the Mic II clash and ending the track with “F**k Boy Better Know”. The track, which has been viewed around 16,000 times, has gained attention from various outlets, not at least, Skepta himself. Skepta released his own video earlier this morning, ‘Nasty’ on Twitter and it is clear that Skepta is hearing Devilman loud and clear. Skeppy takes it upon himself to tell Devilman that while they may have been considered equals when they clashed in 2006, they have both taken different roads and Devilman simply ain’t on “his level man”.
Its worth noting that Devilman had previously sent for Skepta in a Lord of the Mics 3 Hype Session but there was no reply from the BBK member. What it was about this diss track that made Skepta reach for the reply is unknown but what is known is that with another video and reply, more and more listeners are tuning in to see what happens next.
